Concord Monitor Candidate Profile, 2016

"It is time for Congress to take up legislation modeled after the Firearms Act of 1934 regulating auto-loading long guns capable of firing more than five rounds without reloading. This exempts such legitimate sporting arms as the Remington 740 series, which was designed with hunting in mind. I would also exempt rifles designed for 22-caliber rimfire ammunition... it would be advisable for the legislators of New Hampshire to move to regulate such instruments in this state, providing for licensing and registration of firearms designed to emulate their military counterparts in capacity for mass slaughter.... Further, if elected I shall file legislation to forbid transfer of firearms within the state of New Hampshire at gun shows."

NHPTV Voter Guide, 2012

"Turn the lights back on and reopen the restrooms, for starters. Fix the roads and bridges. Begin the long process of restoring public transport across the state; railroads built NH. Why did we destroy them? Why do we not want them?"

NHPTV Voter Guide, 2012

"No. My experience has been that gambling is a tax on the poor. It is an industry born of criminal enterprise and it is still a 'racket' designed to part the suckers from their money. The lottery is more than enough; we don't need casinos."
