"Because of the already enormous cost of tuition, and the punishing debt it entails, I was not able to go to school despite my good grades, good scholarships, and being accepted to just about every school I applied. I went to work instead.
"I dont want that part of my life on any of our students. To be denied an education you worked your life for up to that point, is degrading, and it is depressing, it sets you up to struggle.
