Should New Hampshire ban abortion after 20 weeks gestation, with exceptions for cases of rape/incest and health complications?

"Personally, I find abortion a terrible choice. However I will always support a woman's legal right to choose."

Citizens Count Issue Survey, 2018

Should NH pursue expanded commuter rail?

Citizens Count Issue Survey, 2018

Should NH limit terms for elected officials?

Citizens Count Issue Survey, 2018

Should NH increase funding for heroin treatment programs?

"More money should be allocated to this. However, again, we have to address the structural deficit so we can have enough money to deal with these and other important issues- small towns like Newton are more negatively impacted by high property taxes, and in order to keep our small town viable, it is a priority of mine to keep Newton thriving and property taxes down."

Citizens Count Issue Survey, 2018

Should NH add an income tax on earned income?

"I oppose New Hampshire adding an income tax on earned income."

Citizens Count Issue Survey, 2018

Should NH add a broad-based sales tax?

"At present, I am not for a broad-based sales tax. All other options need to be exhausted. I think legalization is a better solution if done appropriately and safely."

Should NH legalize the recreational use of marijuana?

"I am for marijuana legalization as long as it is done with intense research, care and safety in mind. I would also only support this if the financial structure was highly beneficial to the people of our state and adequately addressed our structural deficit."

Citizens Count Issue Survey, 2018

Was New Hampshire right to continue expanded Medicaid eligibility, using the traditional Medicaid system of managed care instead of private insurance?

"Given our terrible opioid crisis, it was absolutely necessary."

Citizens Count Issue Survey, 2018

Is police brutality an issue in NH?

"In my experience in my town this is not an issue. I whole heartedly support our brave first responders. Should brutality become an issue, I would, of course address it."

Should New Hampshire government do more to increase the supply of affordable housing?

"I am for increasing the supply of affordable housing. However, I always look though the lens of who pays for it. This would depend on the cost/benefit analysis. Should New Hampshire allocate tax revenues for private and home schooling costs?
