"This is not an Executive Council issue but there is a tenant and housing crisis in NH that is making it difficult for businesses to hire. People are not able to stay in the communities they work and grew up in, and its also difficult for people who have the financial means but are unable to find homes. Lack of a dynamic workforce and unbalanced age demographics can have long term destabilizing effects on NH."

"Making sure contracts are fair and competitive is a responsibility of the Executive Council. No-bid contracts are growing as a share of the budget, often as extensions or as a result of time-sensitivity or lack of other bids. In any case no-bid is not preferred and should be held in scrutiny."
