Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?
"Vouchers should only be offered to those who truly cannot afford other options without them."

Citizens Count Issue Survey, 2026

Should New Hampshire’s anti-discrimination law allow segregation based on biological sex in some settings, such as bathrooms and locker rooms?

"I do not know why Republicans are so obsessed with people's genitalia. Let people pee and play sports in peace. Let's focus on the real concerns of New Hampshire's citizens: Cost of living, Housing Access, etc."

Citizens Count Issue Survey, 2026

Should New Hampshire ban abortions during the first trimester (e.g. after 6 weeks gestation)?

"Abortion is a medical procedure, often one that is life saving for the person needing it. The only people who should be involved in deciding if someone has an abortion are the pregnant person and their medical provider. Anything else is a violation of personal bodily autonomy."

Citizens Count Issue Survey, 2026

Should New Hampshire ban abortions during the second trimester (e.g. after 15 weeks gestation)?

Should NH add an income tax on earned income?

"I would not state a specific position on income tax unless I knew what was being proposed and how it would directly impact New Hampshire Citizens. I do not believe in ruling anything in or out without a full picture."

Citizens Count Issue Survey, 2026

Should New Hampshire lower business taxes?

"Until we have determined a method to replace funds from the already slashed business taxes, we should not lower the current rates. We would be better suited to look at the overall tax structure of our state as well as a full accounting for all programs before we make any determination."

Citizens Count Issue Survey, 2026

Should the state do more to encourage municipalities to remove zoning barriers to housing development?
"It would depend on what was suggested. There are some zoning issues for large cities like Manchester that are not relevant to small towns such as Madbury."

Citizens Count Issue Survey, 2026

Should New Hampshire do more to encourage the development of nuclear power, including small modular reactors (SMR), in the state?

"A better choice would be to invest in Solar, Wind, and other renewable forms of energy generation that do not have the potential side effect of poisoning our environment."

Should New Hampshire restore funding for the Office of the Child Advocate?

"Removing the funding from the Office of the Child Advocate, especially in light of the multitude of abuses at the Sununu center is not only short cited, but also a sure way to increase the likelihood of further abuses."

Should New Hampshire guarantee the right to access abortion before 24 weeks?

"Abortion is a medical procedure, often one that is life saving for the person needing it. The only people who should be involved in deciding if someone has an abortion are the pregnant person and their medical provider. Anything else is a violation of personal bodily autonomy."

Should New Hampshire reinstate the interest and dividends tax?

"I&D taxes impacted only those who could afford them. Slashing them benefits the wealthiest citizens while defunding essential programs."

Citizens Count Issue Survey, 2026

Do you support New Hampshire’s current system of public school funding, with about two-thirds of total funding coming from local property taxes?

"The courts have been very clear. We do not adequately fund public education statewide. If all of the funds from the voucher scam were returned to the public school system, it would be a good start. Vouchers should only be offered to those who truly cannot afford other options without them."

Should New Hampshire require new voters to provide proof of U.S. citizenship, such as a birth certificate or passport, when registering to vote?

"Given the heavy penalties for lying on an application to vote, an affidavit should be sufficient. There are so few cases of voter fraud in the country (despite the myths) that this should not be our focus. We would be better served if we offered easier access to voter registration such as the many states that allow young people to pre-register to vote when they get their driver's licenses."
