"There is no evidence of transgender individuals posing a predatory threat in public bathrooms. Statistically, a person faces a far greater threat from Republican politicians. I also take umbrage to the phase 'sex assigned at birth' as I have numerous gay and transgendered friends that seem to have missed being able to dispute that assignment at the time it was given."

Should NH add an income tax on earned income?

"We need create a budget that provides for a sustainable economy with adequate funding for all of NH's commitments including school aid and NHRS. From there we can establish an accurate revenue shortfall, if any. Only then would it be time to investigate potential revenue sources for our budget. An income tax is not my first choice, but when considered next to property taxes, a graduated income tax is far less regressive."

"The majority of business tax cuts went to out of state corporations. The money would have been far better spent building a better New Hampshire to attract tourism and support local businesses."

Should the state do more to encourage municipalities to remove zoning barriers to housing development?

"Again, the state has no business imposing itself on local zoning. If zoning changes need to be made, I prefer incentives far more than mandates. Also, if the goal is to create more affordable hosing then putting money into the pockets of our workers with realistic wage legislation is a far more effective means to that end."

Should New Hampshire do more to encourage the development of nuclear power, including small modular reactors (SMR), in the state?

"SNMR's are just as likely to provide a realistic answer to our energy needs as rainbow unicorns. There is not one site in the US that has effectively empolyed SMR technology. Nuclear has proven to be non-fundable. Even with generous government subsidies, shareholders are far too risk averse to invest. Current legislation leaves ratepayers liable for cost overruns, meaning that utilities are permitted to gamble with ratepayer dollars."

Do you support legislation to expand the net energy metering system capacity cap from 1 MW to 5 MW for all residential and commercial customers in New Hampshire?

"Our businesses need the means to cut their expenses, and considering that New Hampshire has some of the highest energy costs in the country, then we need to encourage home grown energy as a means to attract and sustain our businesses."

"No brainer. Our children are our most precious resource, and we need to do all in our power as a state to reduce state liability and prevent any further abuse, particularly in our institutional settings."

"People need to pay their fair share. Interest and dividends tax is based on actual, realized cash income. Property tax is based on unrealized profit from wealth estimates. Both are wealth taxes, only one has something to do with disposable income."

"Claremont I and II both pointed to the fact that the state is not maintaining their constitutional duty. Lowering the bar, as the legislature recently did, is not a solution. I hear Republican legislators mouthing "good education regardless of zip code" then downshift costs right back to our poorest communities."

"I am softly in support of cannabis legalization. I don't think a healthy society should be encouraging citizens to engage in vices, and this includes liquor and gambling. Even more objectionable to me is the use of vice tax to raise state revenue. However, I also feel that the risks associated with cannabis are more on the scale akin to liquor and see no reason to legalize one without the other."

"The only voter fraud in New Hampshire that I am aware of are when Republican legislators continue to vote after they leave the district in which they were elected. Burdening poll workers and excluding voters is just a sure of a means to rig elections as extreme gerrymandering. If Republicans want to rewrite the constitution then let them submit their case to the voters. I am ashamed that our Secretary of State is allowing this burdensome regulation despite it being forbid unconstitutional."
