"One size fits all just does not work in NH. What may make sense for a city might not work in rural towns. There is a big push for work force housing in rural areas where it most likely result in additional students while the jobs will be in a near by city or large town"

"As a member Emeritus of the American Nuclear Society. I am very familiar small modular reactors. While I believe the state should not do anything to block their development , we should not go back to allowing regulated utilities to build or directly invest in these or other generators . The competitive market for generation is working well and we should not go back to a system where ratepayers are forced to take the risk for new generation"

"This will just increase the already too high subsidies from these programs. For many people solar if just not an option ( electric bill not high enough to justify the installation costs. live in rental property or mobile home...) The transmission and distribution systems are built to deliver power when there is no solar generation )the overall yearly capacity factor for solar in NH is 13.5%. The bottom line is there is nothing preventing anyone from building a 5 MW system. The fact that almost no one does this without net metering only reinforces that fact that it is a subsidies paid for by all electric customers"
