"I do not support the current Education Freedom Account program. Public education funding should primarily support public schools and the students they are legally obligated to serve. I am particularly concerned about using public dollars for private education without the same level of public accountability, transparency, and oversight required of public schools. I support reasonable privacy and safety accommodations in settings such as bathrooms, locker rooms, and shelters, but those concerns should be addressed through practical policies that respect the dignity and privacy of everyone rather than creating broad exemptions from anti-discrimination protections.
