Jensen signed the Coalition of New Hampshire Taxpayers 2016 pledge, which states, "I, the above signatory, pledge that if I am elected to any statewide office, I will oppose all efforts to impose a sales, income, or other broadbased tax on the taxpayers of the State of New Hampshire."

"My three main goals for my term as State Representative are: 1) reduce excessive government and strengthen our economy by keeping the scope of law and regulation as limited as possible; 2) work to build transparency in Concord following the model that has been so successful in our town government over the last few years so that state government becomes more accessible and responsive to the people; and 3) represent the best interests of all residents of Amherst to the utmost of my abilities. Above all, I will work to keep tax rates as low as possible and our state services the best value for residents."
