"This was a 4-5 person office that spent more time lobbying for extreme left-wing positions in Concord than actually doing its real job. "Local control requires local responsibility. You can't have spending decisions being sperated from funding decisions as the spending will ballon even faster when there is no accountability. Also, poor towns would end up subsidizing rich towns. The key to lower taxes is lower spending."
