Do you support the state law that bans teaching certain concepts, such as the idea that people may be "inherently racist, sexist, or oppressive, whether consciously or unconsciously"?

"Absolutely. To 'teach' children that the color of their skin puts them in categories such as; victim, oppressor, oppressed, supremacist is not helpful when learning to get along. To 'teach' these concepts as early as pre-school, in certain areas, is detrimental to children's social development. 'We hold these truths to be self evident, that all Men are created equal .........' (The Declaration of Independence)."

Do you support the state’s current system of public school funding, with each district’s total funding primarily dependent on local property tax revenue?

"I like the idea that communities provide the funding for their schools. What happens though, is that very few residents participate in deciding the school budget. If residents really examined the budget, asked questions about increases or new expenditures, I believe the school budget would be manageable. The school funding issue needs a thorough evaluation."

Should New Hampshire extend the renewable portfolio standard past 2025, requiring public utilities to obtain more than 25% of electricity from renewable energy sources?

Should the state do more to encourage municipalities to remove zoning barriers to housing development?

"zoning regulations exist for more reasons than to 'keep people out'. To have a three person, unelected board deciding how towns should address the housing market does not sit well with the municipalities. Sit down with the select board and planning board, listen to their issues, and see where there might be common ground."
