Should there be a path to citizenship for some illegal/undocumented immigrants?

"The U.S. is a nation of laws. Our borders are what define us as a country. Without them we are no longer a nation.

  • Every illegal alien with a criminal record will be sent home.
  • The army will help protect our borders.
  • Economic sanctions will be placed on Mexico if they don't actively secure the border."

Should the federal government expand background checks for firearms sales?

"'I don't believe you need a submachine gun to kill a bunny rabbit.'

"I don't own a gun. I don't like guns. But I believe and respect the Constitution and one's right to own a gun.

"However, if you have a current criminal record of violence, you won't be allowed to have a gun."

Should the federal government institute a flat income tax for all income brackets while eliminating many deductions?

How should the U.S. combat the Islamic State?

"18 year old men and women are being sent overseas to be killed by the weapons the United States left in Iran, Iraq, and Afghanistan. This can't continue. We can't continue to lose our brave men and women this way. Returning vets have told me these things.

"We need to admit to other countries when we have made bad judgements and mistakes. I was told recently while in Chattanooga, Tenn., by United States service men and women that America has helped create I.S.I.S. It is time to apologize to the world for the violence we have committed. I.S.I.S. is angry with us as a country and we need to understand why, and we need to fix it. We can't answer hate with more hate. I believe the people on the front lines should have a voice in this war. We should take what they have learned and apply it to our strategy around the world. This can begin the healing process."

Should the federal government increase funding for transportation infrastructure, such as road repair and highway expansion?

"It is time to put the army to work here at home. America no longer has first world roads, bridges, or air travel. Our roads are crumbling. Our bridges are collapsing. Many of our airports look like a demilitarized zone. Presently, our army is returning from three war zones. These brave men and women who are returning home need jobs. One way we as a nation can thank them for their service is by putting them back to work. What better place then rebuilding our infrastructure. The training these men and women have received in the armed forces is some of the best in the world. We should put it to work to make our country stronger here at home.

"Returning vets are having a staggeringly hard time finding employment stateside. So utilizing their skills and training on projects that put our country back in shape for the 21 century is job number one. A new lane on route 95 from Florida to Maine, or 1-10 from the Gulf Coast to the Gold Coast would shave an 22 minutes off commute times. It would increase productivity and bolster commuters and give parents back time with their families."

"New York is a great model for driving America's business interests. New York presently entices business to move to the state by promising to waive taxes for 10-years. Lowering taxes on American businesses will give them the incentive to reinvest."

"It's time to buy American. American families need to reinvest in America. If citizens make that commitment, investors will follow suit. You may have to pay, but it will help your neighbor, your grandchildren, and American business.

Should the license for the Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant be renewed?

"In 1987, I founded We the People, Inc. of the United States, a National non-profit organization that provided safe haven for those who risked their life and career to expose the dangers housed inside most nuclear plants. For 30-years, I have investigated the actions of both the civil and weapon sides of the nuclear industry. I have provided safe haven for whistleblowers with nowhere else to turn when they confront corruption within their industry. For years, the government has covered-up counterfeit and substandard parts housed in more than 70 % of the nuclear power plants in this country. There has been a gag order in place silencing first responders when evacuation plans cannot be executed. I have found the industry and Nuclear Regulatory Commission wants to threaten Main Street. They want to convince Americans that without nuclear energy they will freeze to death in the dark while they are being forced to take a cold shower. I believe Americans can see through that kind of logic.

"The future is clean energy.

  • Sun
  • Wind
  • Water & Regeneration

"There is no point in preserving our nation if we destroy our planet.

"I have looked at this issue from many angles: As a businessman, as a farmer, as a Christian, a parent and as a healthcare provider. From August 1st through the 14th, 2014, I visited the sights where both atomic bombs were dropped. Until we understand the cost of decommissioning nuclear power stations and find a solution for the waste that will survive for 1 million years we must cease all nuclear production."
