Should New Hampshire’s anti-discrimination law allow segregation based on biological sex in some settings, such as bathrooms and locker rooms?

"I think schools, businesses, and organizations should be able to make this call for themselves instead of one rule from Concord. This has been a hard one to write into law without causing more problems. I'd want to see a version that actually works, not just one that sounds good on paper."

Should New Hampshire ban abortions during the first trimester (e.g. after 6 weeks gestation)?

"On banning abortion in the first trimester - I don't support banning it that early. I've been consistent on this. My position is 15 weeks, with exceptions."

Should the state do more to encourage municipalities to remove zoning barriers to housing development?
"I think the state should encourage good ideas, not force towns into 'one size fits all' zoning. That decision belongs with local voters and town government."

Should New Hampshire restore funding for the Office of the Child Advocate?

"The Office of the Child Advocate is meant to be independent oversight of DCYF, not part of it. I'd support restoring its funding if it's genuinely doing that watchdog job - not functioning as a platform for other agendas."

Should New Hampshire guarantee the right to access abortion before 24 weeks?

"On guaranteeing access before 24 weeks - My position has always been a 15 week standard with exceptions for the life and health of the mom; not a full guarantee up to 24 weeks."

Should New Hampshire reinstate the interest and dividends tax?

Do you support New Hampshire’s current system of public school funding, with about two-thirds of total funding coming from local property taxes?

"Our property taxes are too high, especially for seniors on fixed incomes. But I don't think a judge should order Concord to spend more, and I don't think a town's own tax dollars should be redistributed to other towns just because their property values are higher - that money belongs to the people who paid it. I'd rather see relief through spending discipline here at home, not new taxes or handing local money over to the state to redistribute."

Should New Hampshire legalize the recreational use of marijuana by licensing growers and private retail locations?

"On licensed private retail sales: I don't support the state legalizing and taxing marijuana sales. If it happens anyway, I'd want public safety questions answered first, and I'd want local communities, not Concord; to have the final say through a local opt-in vote."

Should state law cap how much local school districts can increase their budget each year?

"I support HB1300. It puts the school tax cap question to a vote at the general election, where far more people turn out - and it takes a 3/5 majority to pass."
