Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?

"EFAs take money from public schools which are already woefully underfunded. Students who are supposedly "home schooled" with EFA funds lack any accountability - they do not take the tests public school students take. 10% of the money for EFA's goes to an out-of-state company which disburses the money with little if any accountability. Recent data shows that 4 out of 5 families taking EFAs have incomes over $112,000. I believe this is grossly financially negligent."

"I do not support segregation based on biological sex. "I support nuclear power with reservations. I have a Ph.D. in nuclear engineering and I believe there is a role for nuclear energy in creating a sustainable future for our civilization. However, I also believe this is an area in which political choices must reflect scientific and engineering facts. We must confront the problem transporting and disposing of nuclear waste. We already have a scientifically sound solution that is far, far safer than leaving waste stored in myriad sites at widely dispersed facilities with highly variable environmental and security concerns. We need to clear the political roadblocks to fix this problem."

"I am strongly against open enrollment in the state of New Hampshire. In NH, the vast majority of school funding comes from local property taxes. Open enrollment means students can take the education funding from one town and give it to another! This is grossly unfair to local schools which have no way to plan for this unpredictable and highly uncertain impact on their staffing and budgets."
