NHGOP’s First-in-the-Nation summit kicks off

Friday kicked off the start of the NHGOP’s First-in-the-Nation Republican Leadership Summit at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nashua.

Nineteen confirmed or likely presidential candidates will be in attendance, including New York Gov. George Pataki, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

An additional 20 speakers will talk at the event, including New Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte, Rep. Frank Guinta, and former Gov. John H. Sununu.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio is the keynote speaker for Friday night’s dinner, and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker will present the closing keynote on Saturday night.

The summit is sold out, with up to 600 Republican activists expected to attend, plus media personnel.
