Summary:
Raises governmental liability for injury, death, or property damages caused by negligence. The bill also requires local governments to financially protect their employees from personal liability. Lastly, the bill raises the claim mitis from $375,000 per claimant and $1 million per incident to $475,000 per claimant and $1.475 million per incident.
The House added the substance of this bill to SB 409.
