Summary:
Expands the meals and rooms tax to include the rental of motor vehicles designed for water (motorboats) and establishes a flat 8.5% tax on gross rental receipts.
The House amended the bill, removing the section on motorboats. According to the report from the House Ways and Means Committee, "This bill and amendment addressed cleaning up a couple of sections of the Meals and Rooms Tax statutes."
