Summary:
Rewrites the laws that regulate the financing of political campaigns.
A conference committee of representatives and senators agreed on a compromise version of the bill. The bill requires candidates to use the Secretary of State's online campaign finance system. Candidates may continue emailing their campaign finance reports to the Secretary of State in PDF format, although those reports must meet certain accessibility guidelines starting in 2026. The House and Senate approved this compromise bill.
