Revise requirements for site assessment studies of shoreland septic systems

Summary:

Modifies various requirements for site assessment studies of shoreland septic systems. According to the House Resources, Recreation and Development Committee, "This bill seeks to reduce the negative impact on water bodies from failed septic systems located on property within the shoreland protection zone by requiring an evaluation of the septic system prior to the sale of such property."
