HB 1182 (2020)
Ten-year transportation plan and other transportation legislation
This bill became law.
Establishes a commission to study the on road usage of non-traditional motor vehicles, such as all terrain vehicles and golf carts. The Senate amended this legislation to incorporate several other transportation-related bills. In particular, the Senate amendment included the ten-year transportation improvement plan for 2021-2030 (originally written as HB 2020). The amended bill also allows the Department of Transportation to suspend or reduce some projects in the ten-year plan as needed to offset decreased revenue due to the coronavirus emergency.
