Reduce some drug charges
Summary:
Reduces first-time drug possession, transportation or use from a felony to a misdemeanor. Subsequent violations could be sentenced as felonies or misdemeanors at the discretion of the prosecutor. This bill also eliminates mandatory minimums for school zone and drug enterprise leader charges.
