Summary:
Permits the marriage application worksheet to be completed in advance and establishes a $25 fee for filing a delayed certificate of marriage with a town or city clerk.
The Senate amended the bill to also establish rules governing the confidentiality of records of divorce proceedings and allow for petitions to seal divorce records. A conference committee of representatives and senators removed that amendment.
