Establishes 4-year terms for the deputy commissioner, the assistant commissioner, and each unclassified division director in the Department of Administrative Services.
The House amended the bill to also rename the Division of Financial Data Management as the Division of Enterprise Applications Management; modify the new position classifications process to be based upon the recommendations of a stakeholder group overseen by the director of personnel; and increase the annual amount retained in the nonlapsing personnel education and training fund for the division of personnel.
