Summary:
Requires the state to cover the cost for schools to provide pads and tampons to students for free in school bathrooms. The bill establishes a reimbursement rate of "$15 per school year for every enrolled female having passed her 12th birthday."
The House rewrote the bill to remove the requirement that menstrual hygiene products be provided for free in school bathrooms; this would leave it up to schools where to provide the products.
