Summary:
Establishes a 4-year term for the county treasurer, county sheriff, county register of deeds, and county attorney in Rockingham county. The House amended the bill to apply these changes to all counties.
The Senate amended the bill to also require that Gunstock area commission members be elected by the voters rather than appointed by the county commission. A conference committee of representatives and senators agreed to remove this part of the bill.
