Protect prescriptions for off-label use

Summary:
Allows a physician, physician assistant, and advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) to prescribe an FDA approved drug for an off-label indication (e.g. prescribing ivermectin for COVID-19). The bill also prohibits disciplinary action against a pharmacist for filling a valid prescription for off-label use.
A conference committee of representatives and senators amended the bill to require informed consent from the patient in some circumstances before providing an off-label prescription.
