Description: Requires the Department of Environmental Services (DES) to compel the parties responsible for dumping hazardous waste at Coakley Landfill to take remedial action, including groundwater treatment. The Senate amended the bill to instead require DES to report to the legislature about PFC contamination at landfills and other hazardous waste sites.
