This bill became law.
Last updated 2023-12-07 8:54 am
Summary:
Cuts off absentee ballot distribution at 12pm the day before an election, rather than 5pm. This bill also requires the election day checklist to be printed no sooner than noon of the Monday prior to the election. Names of voters who requested an absentee ballot would be printed in bold on this list.
The House amended the bill to still allow absentee ballot requests in-person up to 5pm. The amended bill also removed the provisions about the printed checklist.
