Summary:
Allows towns and cities to establish a residency requirement of up to 90 days for local assistance.
The House amended the bill to allow towns and cities to require proof of residency to receive assistance. The amended bill also allows towns and cities to limit monthly assistance to 50% of the federal poverty level
