Rewrite law on public comment at school board meetings, require board members to cite laws

Rewrites the law requiring school boards to accept public comment at meetings. This bill requires school boards to designate time for "interactive questions from the public and answers from the board," without specific time requirements (the current law requires 30 minutes). This bill also creates a right for anyone at the meeting to demand with New Hampshire law or administrative rule gives the school board authority described in a school policy or procedure; the school board must respond with a citation or the policy/procedure must be withdrawn.
