Summary:
Allows opioid prescriptions through telehealth, except methadone hydrochloride. The House rewrote the bill to allow physicians, physician assistants and APRN's to prescribe non-opioid and opioid controlled drugs by telemedicine, so long as there is a follow-up in-person appointment at least once a year. This policy was incorporated into SB 238 (2023).
