Summary:
Prohibits state and local governments from adopting "sanctuary policies," which prohibit or impede law enforcement cooperating with federal immigration enforcement.
The House amended the bill to also prohibit state and local law enforcement from inquiring about anyone's immigration status who is not already in custody.
