Summary:
Gives military spouses and all active duty military preference in state hiring. The current hiring preference only applies to veterans. This bill then adds a preference for the state to pay for products and services from veterans and military spouses.
The Senate amended the bill to also extend the New Hampshire National Guard Enlistment and Reenlistment Incentive Program to those who reclassify into a critical, unfilled vacancy.
