Summary:
Expands a patient's right to try emerging health care treatment options if they have been diagnosed with a life-threatening disease. In particular, this bill allows a health care provider located in New Hampshire to conduct a telehealth prescreening with an out-of-state patient.
The Senate amended the bill to narrow eligibility to patients diagnosed with a terminal illness, not just a life-threatening disease.
