HB 701 (2025)

Expand patient's right to try emerging health care treatment options

This bill became law.

Last updated 2025-12-13 8:34 pm
Summary:

Expands a patient's right to try emerging health care treatment options if they have been diagnosed with a life-threatening disease. In particular, this bill allows a health care provider located in New Hampshire to conduct a telehealth prescreening with an out-of-state patient.

The Senate amended the bill to narrow eligibility to patients diagnosed with a terminal illness, not just a life-threatening disease.
