This bill became law.

Last updated 2025-12-04 6:35 pm
Summary:

Prohibits the use of public schools or colleges from providing shelter for illegal/undocumented immigrants, unless there is a disaster.

The House amended the bill to also require DHHS contracts to include a provision that entities comply with the NH Patient Bill of Rights.

The Senate then added the substance of SB 225 and SB 241 to this bill.

SB 225 requires municipalities to post a 45-day notice prior to conducting any annual or 5-year revaluation of property.

SB 241 establishes the Hampton Beach State Park Pier Fund for the purpose of building a public pier.

A conference committee of representatives and senators agreed to the 45-day notice before revaluation, but rejected the Hampton Beach State Park Pier Fund.
