Summary:
Waives various business registration, licensing, and taxation requirements for out-of-state businesses temporarily performing work in New Hampshire during a declared state of emergency.
The House amended the bill to also prohibit the siting of new landfills, excluding expansions of existing landfills, within 2 miles of state parks. This is similar to HB 177, which was killed in the Senate. A conference committee of representatives and senators removed this addition to the bill.
