SB 103 (2025)

Require at least 1 polling place per 15,000 voters

This bill is still active.

Last updated 2025-12-04 11:32 pm
Summary:

Requires towns and cities to have at least one polling place per every 20,000 registered voters unless the town or city has received approval from the Secretary of State for fewer locations. This could impact the town of Londonderry, in particular, which has just under 20,000 voters and might exceed that number in the next election.

The Senate amended the bill to require towns and cities to have at least one polling place per every 15,000 registered voters. The bill would allow the Secretary of State and Attorney General to approve fewer locations if a town or city submits an adequate plan to accommodate all voters.
