SB 203 (2023)
Revise Board of Manufactured Housing
This bill did not become law.
Changes the membership of the Board of Manufactured Housing, and increases the board's jurisdiction to include matters under RSA 301-A on consumers cooperative associations. This bill specifically mentions a dispute resolution process to resolve conflicts in both investor-owned and resident-owned manufactured housing communities.
The House completely rewrote the bill to instead require the Office of Professional Licensure and Certification to maintain the Board of Manufactured Housing's website if the board is repealed. The Senate voted to establish a conference committee and negotiate a final version of the bill, but the House refused to establish the committee.
