Summary:
Removes the requirement for school nurses to be certified by the state board of education.
The Senate rewrote the bill to instead lower the requirement for entry level school nurses from a bachelor's degree to an associate's degree. Nurses hired after August 15, 2019 with an associate's degree must complete a bachelor's degree within six years of their hire.
