Summary:
Allows the commissioner of the Department of Safety to use an approved an examination for safe boater education certificates. Writing on behalf of the Senate Transportation Committee, Sen. Regina Birdsell wrote, "This bill will modify New Hampshire’s safe boater education statute to allow for the exam to be taken via an online platform."
The Senate amended the bill to also exempt commercial driver instructors from licensing requirements if they meet federal standards.
