SB 330 (2022)
Allow reciprocal licenses under OPLC
This bill became law.
Revises the law allowing temporary licensure of out-of-state health care professionals to instead allow the Office of Professional Licensure and Certification (OPLC) to grant reciprocal licenses, in general, when a person is licensed in another state with similar licensing requirements. This bill also establishes registration for paid feeding assistant programs.
The Senate amended the bill to instead establish a committee to study and make recommendations relative to the Office of Professional Licensure and Certification (OPLC), and the licensure of professions under boards, councils, and commissions within the office.
The amended bill also amends the provision for expiration of terms of the members of the board of foresters.
