Summary:
Reestablishes the commission to study incidence of post traumatic stress disorder in first responders. This bill also requires law enforcement officers and fire service or emergency medical services personnel to complete required mental health training, through programs developed by the Police Standards and Training Council (Police Standards and Training) and the Department of Safety Division of Fire Standards and Training and Emergency Medical Services (Fire Standards and Training/EMS), respectively.
