Summary:
Adjusts and expands the licensing requirements for alcohol and other drug use professionals. According to the Senate Executive Departments and Administration Committee, "The bill would expand the pool of bachelor's level students who qualify for licensure by allowing criminal justice majors to pursue a career more easily in treatment by removing the subjective process of the Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor Board."
