Summary:
Establishes certification of substance use treatment programs and facilities by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). This bill also establishes an Office of the Behavioral Health Ombudsman in DHHS; the Senate amended this bill to instead say, "Subject to available funding, the department shall designate within the office of the ombudsman a person as the behavioral health specialist."
The Senate added the text of this bill to HB 1079.
