Requires the Department of Transportation establish a pilot program to use processed glass aggregate (PGA) as a component of the aggregate base materials on state roads and highways. This bill also requires the department to develop a supply chain of PGA and work with paving contractors to determine the best use of the materials. The Senate amended the bill to more generally require the Department of Transportation to establish a program to use processed glass aggregate in state projects. The amended bill also establishes a committee to study issues relating to paving of New Hampshire Route 111 in Hampstead and Atkinson.
