"The correct term is 'Sole source' NOT 'no bid'. Some contract proposals only receive one bidder for variously reasons. Others are approving predetermined contract extensions. Another example would be a contract with the University of NH for a very specialized service at lower than market rates."

"For judges and Justices they must be willing to follow the constitution and not legislate from the bench. For other nominees they must be qualified to preform the needed function and willing to follow state law."

"Gordon is very qualified for the job. Both Democrats and Republicans came to his confirmation hearing and spoke in favor of him becoming Chief Justice of the NH Supreme Court."
