Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?
"As long as high schoolers can't read Mark Twain or do basic mental math, I'm in favor of supporting viable alternatives to public school."Other| Read My Position

Should New Hampshire’s anti-discrimination law allow segregation based on biological sex in some settings, such as bathrooms and locker rooms?
"Case-by-case, I'd rather follow the science. For instance, I don't think it's right or logical to bar transgender people from the bathroom of their choice if they pass as that gender to the average bystander. As long as they're respectful of the space, which is the same standard we hold to everybody. Biological men have no business in competitive female sports. Basic science says that's stupid. Past... like, elementary school, we should follow the biology."Against| Read My Position

Should New Hampshire ban abortions during the first trimester (e.g. after 6 weeks gestation)?
"We shouldn't be pulling whole ass babies out of the womb, but outside of that I consider abortion to be a cultural issue, not a legal one. Better parents will do more to prevent 'convenience' abortions than any law we could ever propose. Until then, let's leave the option open."Against| Read My Position

Should New Hampshire ban abortions during the second trimester (e.g. after 15 weeks gestation)?

Should New Hampshire lower business taxes?
"We need to get tax revenue from somewhere. I'm also in favor of a progressive tax rate, making sure the national and international businesses muscling in on our local businesses pay their dues. I will reserve judgement for specific proposals until I've seen what the money will, or will no longer, go to."Other| Read My Position

Should the state do more to encourage municipalities to remove zoning barriers to housing development?
"We've lost a lot of New Hampshire's culture by bringing all of these people in so quickly. I'd rather focus our efforts in specific areas, baking culture in alongside the economic development. We need to protect what makes us New Hampshire, or we're going to become nothing more than a Massachusetts suburb from Concord down."For| Read My Position

Should New Hampshire do more to encourage the development of nuclear power, including small modular reactors (SMR), in the state?
"I'd like to see a whole new plant go up, but I'll settle for expanding the NextEra plant in Seabrook."Other| Read My Position

Should New Hampshire restore funding for the Office of the Child Advocate?

Do you support New Hampshire’s current system of public school funding, with about two-thirds of total funding coming from local property taxes?
"The more local control we can offer our schools, the better. That includes funding. Considering the entire nation has been failing to educate our kids for decades, i'd like to see New Hampshire take a different path whenever possible."Against| Read My Position

Should New Hampshire add a tax on capital gains?
"Again, for transactions greater than a certain threshold I could see the argument. I'm in favor of orienting our taxation towards those who can afford it, though not in a way that would make it punishing to pursue wealth. A 2-3% capital gains tax on purchases greater than $10M in exchange for eliminating the BET and lowering real estate taxes to match the added revenue would make sense to me."

Should New Hampshire government do more to address climate change?
"Environmental conservation, not 'climate change'. The climate changing is far out of our control, but we can stop these corporations from shuttling out-of-state trash to our landfills. That's where our attention and money should be."

Do you support giving voters who register without ID on Election Day a ballot that only counts if they return identifying documents to the state before a deadline?
"Anyone who can't be bothered to get an ID before election day shouldn't be voting. We need educated voters to choose the leaders of our state and federal governing bodies."

Should New Hampshire add legal protections for residents of other states who travel here for health care related to abortion or gender transition?

Should NH require local law enforcement to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement?
