"Case-by-case, I'd rather follow the science. For instance, I don't think it's right or logical to bar transgender people from the bathroom of their choice if they pass as that gender to the average bystander. As long as they're respectful of the space, which is the same standard we hold to everybody. Biological men have no business in competitive female sports. Basic science says that's stupid.
