"New Hampshire's school funding approach has been repeatedly found by courts to be in violation of the state constitution, primarily by underfunding on a per-pupil basis and by allowing richer towns to withhold their share of education-related property taxes from poorer towns. Ending this application of SWEPT tax in its non-uniform manner would significantly improve the funding of our public school system."
