HB 1376 (2026)
Block courts from considering choice to raise child consistent with biological sex
This bill is still active.
Blocks courts from considering a parent's decision to raise a child consistent with their biological sex in any determinations, and excludes that decision from the definitions of child abuse or endangerment.
The Senate amended the bill to also allow breast surgeries for minors upon consultation with physician, similar to SB 520. A conference committee of representatives and senators removed that amendment.
